About This Role

We are representing a confidential game development studio seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead visual execution for client-facing materials. This role combines design craft with business development support, creating pitch decks, capability presentations, and creative materials that communicate technical expertise across diverse gaming projects.

You'll work remotely from Canada, translating creative vision and IP aesthetics into compelling presentations that support studio growth and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Own visual strategy for high-stakes client pitches, determining the right mix of art, data, motion, and narrative to communicate effectively
  • Design and refine capability decks, case studies, and client presentations that honor each IP's unique visual language
  • Adapt quickly across varied aesthetics—from stylized casual to AAA realism—sometimes within the same project cycle
  • Build reusable design systems including templates, component libraries, and motion frameworks that maintain quality at scale
  • Interpret ambiguous creative direction from leadership with minimal iteration
  • Present work to internal stakeholders and occasionally clients
  • Mentor junior and mid-level designers on craft execution and professional judgment
  • Provide final quality review on materials before client delivery

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of design experience, ideally with exposure to games, entertainment, or fast-paced agency environments
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides)
  • Portfolio demonstrating range across multiple visual styles rather than a single aesthetic
  • Strong understanding of pitch narrative structure: hook, world, proof, and ask
  • Experience building scalable design systems and templates for repeated deployment
  • Track record of proactive initiative rather than waiting for detailed briefs
  • Comfort providing constructive pushback on creative direction with clear rationale
  • Genuine enthusiasm for unfamiliar IPs and new creative challenges

Bonus qualifications:

  • Experience in outsourcing, co-development, or work-for-hire studio settings
  • Familiarity with live-service, mobile, or casual game genres
  • Motion design or animation skills for pitch materials
