Senior Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Financial Analyst – (Reconciliation & Closure)

Serco is hiring a Senior Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Financial Analyst specializing in Reconciliation & Closure for our Triangle, Prince William County office. This full-time role offers the opportunity to drive financial excellence and operational impact by managing reconciliation and contract closure activities for the International Fleet Support Program.

About the Role

You'll own the reconciliation and closure lifecycle for Foreign Military Sales contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time settlement across all financial transactions. Your focus on detail and financial integrity directly supports the delivery of professional and engineering services to international partners while maintaining the highest standards of contract administration.

What You'll Do

• Execute detailed account reconciliation for Foreign Military Sales transactions and contract balances
• Manage contract closure procedures, including final billing, revenue recognition, and account settlement
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, resolve outstanding items, and ensure audit readiness
• Prepare reconciliation statements, closure documentation, and financial reports for review and distribution
• Coordinate with program management, accounting, and contracts teams to resolve complex financial issues
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation in compliance with Department of Defense and FMS regulations
• Monitor account activity, flag exceptions, and implement corrective actions as needed

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in FMS financial analysis, Defense Contracting accounting, or government reconciliation environments
• Strong expertise in account reconciliation, contract closure, and financial reporting processes
• Advanced proficiency with financial analysis tools, spreadsheets, and accounting systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex accounts with meticulous attention to detail
• Working knowledge of DoD regulations, FMS compliance requirements, and contract administration standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
