About the Role

As a Senior FMS Financial Analyst, you'll take ownership of critical reconciliation and closure processes that support complex Foreign Military Sales transactions. You'll work at the intersection of finance, compliance, and defense program management, ensuring that all FMS accounts are accurately balanced, documented, and closed according to regulatory requirements and contract terms.

What You'll Do

• Lead reconciliation efforts across FMS accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies with precision
• Execute month-end and period-end financial closure procedures to support timely, accurate reporting
• Analyze transaction data and account activity to verify completeness and compliance
• Prepare detailed reconciliation reports and supporting documentation for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with program teams, finance departments, and government partners to resolve open items
• Develop and maintain reconciliation schedules and closure checklists
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce reconciliation cycle time

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
• 5+ years of professional accounting or financial analysis experience, with demonstrated expertise in reconciliation and account closure
• Strong knowledge of Foreign Military Sales programs, government contracting, or defense accounting preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, accounting software, and financial systems
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Active Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
