Senior DSP Consultant

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential engineering consultancy seeking a Senior DSP Consultant to join their signal processing team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients developing advanced technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Architecting and implementing software for high-performance hardware platforms, from initial design through verification and optimization
• Contributing to system design of products spanning multiple technical domains
• Supporting new business development as a technical leader in digital signal processing
• Designing software and signal processing solutions based on product requirements
• Guiding engineering teams to successful project delivery
• Contributing to IP development to expand group capabilities
• Providing leadership to engineering teams and mentoring others to scale technical capabilities across the organization
• Working with multidisciplinary teams to engage with clients, understand their needs, and develop technical proposals
• Supporting marketing activities as a thought-leader to promote capabilities

Projects span wireless communications, telecommunications, audio processing, and semiconductor applications, working with clients ranging from established corporations to startups. The work includes satellite communications systems, voice detection acceleration, indoor navigation using sensor fusion, radio receiver design, and wireless communication systems for challenging environments.

• Significant practical experience in wireless systems engineering and signal processing
• Proven ability to define and deliver complex, high-value, innovative projects
• Strong desire to learn, investigate, and develop new technologies
• Technical aptitude and excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to influence at senior management level and match business needs with technology solutions
• Experience coordinating and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Track record of providing technical leadership on programme delivery alongside commercial peers
• Ability to contribute to department strategy, planning, and global business growth
