Senior DevOps Engineer – Intelligent Access Platform (m/f/d)

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer – Intelligent Access Platform (m/f/d) to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position based from Košice, Košický kraj, Slovakia, offering you the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure and platforms that power intelligent access solutions across our organisation.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure supporting our Intelligent Access Platform. In this role, you will take ownership of our platform's reliability, scalability, and security whilst mentoring junior team members and driving continuous improvement across our DevOps practices. You'll work on cutting-edge technologies and have the autonomy to influence architectural decisions that impact our entire access platform ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure and containerised environments for the Intelligent Access Platform
• Build, optimise, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions to ensure consistency and repeatability across environments
• Establish and monitor system reliability through observability tooling and key performance indicators
• Collaborate with development and security teams to embed best practices in access control and platform hardening
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and drive root-cause analysis

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure experience
• Deep expertise in container orchestration and containerisation technologies
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform or Ansible
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline automation
• Solid knowledge of Linux system administration and scripting languages
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms
• Expertise in monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
• Proven ability to design for high availability, disaster recovery, and security
• Strong communication skills and experience mentoring technical teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
