Senior Application Developer for Reselling Platform (m/f/d)

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is seeking a Senior Application Developer for Reselling Platform to join our team on a remote, full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer to architect scalable solutions that power commerce and business operations across our European customer base.

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Senior Application Developer to take ownership of key technical components within our reselling platform. You will design, build, and maintain applications that enable partners and customers to conduct business efficiently. This role offers the chance to work on modern technology stacks, solve complex technical challenges, and guide the evolution of mission-critical systems serving thousands of users.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Architect and develop application features for our reselling platform, maintaining high standards for code quality, performance, and scalability
• Design and optimise APIs, databases, and backend services to support platform functionality and growth
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Conduct code reviews, implement testing strategies, and troubleshoot issues to ensure system reliability
• Work within Agile teams to deliver features iteratively and respond to evolving business priorities
• Contribute to technical documentation and mentor junior team members

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated expertise in backend or full-stack application development
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or Go
• Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, RESTful API design, and software architecture patterns
• Experience with modern development practices, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms
• Familiarity with containerisation, microservices, or distributed systems is highly valued
• Fluent English communication skills; German language knowledge is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a collaborative team orientation
