Senior Data Scientist

We are representing a confidential ecommerce technology company in their search for a Senior Data Scientist. Our client operates at significant scale, serving major retailers globally. This is a fully remote position where you'll work with real-world data that directly impacts business outcomes like revenue and conversion rates.

Through our talent team at Get A Job.ai, we're looking for a data scientist who can design experiments, analyze algorithm performance, and translate model behavior into measurable business value. You'll work with large-scale behavioral datasets and collaborate with product and engineering teams to optimize search and personalization systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests that measure impact on revenue, conversion rate, and profit metrics
• Apply statistical methods and machine learning to solve business and product challenges
• Develop deep understanding of search, ranking, and personalization algorithms and evaluate their performance
• Analyze large-scale behavioral data to generate actionable insights for customers and internal stakeholders
• Build analyses, models, and tools that enable data-driven decision making across teams
• Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and business audiences

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience solving business problems using data science and statistics
• Solid SQL knowledge and proven experience working with large datasets
• Strong Python skills including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and visualization libraries
• Deep understanding of A/B testing, experiment design, and statistical inference
• Understanding of how machine learning systems are trained, evaluated, and tuned
• Experience connecting model performance to product funnels and business metrics
• Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Preferred: Experience in ecommerce or with large-scale user behavioral data
• Preferred: Familiarity with ranking, recommendations, or search relevance systems
