Head of Demand Generation (Remote, Germany)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Head of Demand Generation based in Germany. Our client is a high-growth technology company serving enterprise customers across multiple continents. This is a remote role requiring strong commercial acumen and hands-on leadership in driving revenue through digital channels.

Responsibilities

As Head of Demand Generation, you will own the complete demand engine and be accountable for marketing-sourced pipeline:

• Own and optimize paid acquisition, organic search, website conversion, and content channels to deliver predictable qualified pipeline
• Lead paid media strategy and budget allocation (€2M+) with clear attribution to revenue outcomes
• Direct website architecture, messaging, user experience, landing pages, and conversion rate optimization initiatives
• Build scalable SEO/GEO strategies and intent-based content programs that establish market authority and generate long-term pipeline
• Develop revenue-focused content aligned to enterprise buyer journeys and sales cycles
• Translate company growth targets into actionable channel priorities and quarterly roadmaps
• Own key revenue KPIs and marketing-sourced pipeline targets with regular reporting to leadership
• Lead and develop a team across paid media, content, web, and design functions
• Partner closely with product marketing, revenue teams, and executive leadership to ensure alignment on positioning and commercial goals
• Establish experimentation frameworks and scalable processes that balance short-term performance with long-term growth

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS digital growth marketing
• 2+ years in team leadership roles
• Demonstrated success driving pipeline growth with ownership of €2M+ marketing budgets
• Strong expertise across paid acquisition, conversion rate optimization, and SEO/GEO strategies
• Editorial judgment and digital design understanding to ensure clarity and differentiation in all customer touchpoints
• Understanding of enterprise sales cycles and how to support complex B2B buying journeys
• Analytical mindset with strong commercial accountability and revenue-focused decision making
• Hands-on experience designing or implementing AI agents and agentic workflows (e.g. Claude, LLM-based tooling) to automate marketing processes end-to-end, not just exploratory use of AI tools
• Experience working in SaaS companies in the 20M–100M ARR range (preferred)
• International SaaS exposure and experience collaborating with product marketing and commercial teams (preferred)
• Based in Germany with the ability to work remotely
