About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential technology services organization seeking a Senior Data Migration Consultant for a critical ERP transformation project in Romania. This role focuses on migrating business data from Microsoft Dynamics AX to SAP ERP, requiring deep expertise in data analysis, mapping, and validation.
Responsibilities
- Understand and document business data requirements for the ERP migration
- Analyze data structures in Microsoft Dynamics AX and map them to SAP ERP equivalents
- Define migration rules and transformation logic to ensure data integrity
- Cleanse, validate, reconcile, and test migrated data across systems
- Collaborate with business teams to ensure data quality standards are met
- Support migration cutover activities and go-live operations
- Deliver clean, accurate, and validated data successfully migrated from AX to SAP
What We're Looking For
- Background as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst with proven ERP migration experience
- Strong data mapping capabilities and advanced SQL skills
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data quality management principles
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or SAP ERP is highly advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage complex data migration workstreams
