About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential international manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Accountant with strong ERP and digitalization expertise. Our client operates across multiple global locations and is investing significantly in their finance technology infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of finance and IT, driving digital transformation initiatives across their enterprise systems.

As their Senior Accountant for ERP & Digitalization, you will lead the evolution of finance processes within their enterprise resource planning environment, serving as a key technical liaison between finance teams and system specialists across the international group.

Responsibilities

• Own finance module responsibility within the organization's enterprise resource planning system for existing and future group entities
• Configure and advance ERP processes, interfaces, and digital finance solutions
• Analyze and optimize business processes with focus on accounting, consolidation, and treasury functions
• Participate in and lead sub-projects within finance transformation initiatives, including workflow implementation and automation
• Support go-live events, rollouts, and continuous development of the finance IT landscape
• Collaborate closely with finance teams, ERP specialists, and external consulting partners to deliver joint projects
• Gather, evaluate, and translate finance requirements into technical solutions

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Completed degree in business administration, finance, business informatics, or commercial training with finance specialization
• Several years of experience in financial accounting with solid understanding of finance processes, booking logic, and monthly/annual closings
• Very good German and English language skills
• Confident use of MS Office and common ERP systems, ideally enterprise-level platforms
• Initial experience in digitalization projects and strong interest in process and system development

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with consolidation or treasury management platforms
• Scrum knowledge or agile project experience
