Senior Accountant ERP & Digitalisierung (m/w/d) Dynamics 365

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Accountant with ERP and digitalization expertise. This role combines finance knowledge with systems implementation, focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365. You'll work with an international group operating across multiple locations, driving digital transformation in their finance landscape.

Responsibilities

• Module ownership for finance processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 across existing and future group entities
• Configure and develop ERP processes, interfaces, and digital finance solutions
• Analyze and optimize business processes with focus on accounting, consolidation, and treasury
• Participate in and lead subprojects within finance transformation initiatives, including workflow automation
• Support go-lives, rollouts, and ongoing development of the finance IT landscape
• Collaborate closely with finance teams, Dynamics 365 specialists, and external consulting partners
• Gather, evaluate, and translate finance requirements into technical solutions

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Completed degree in business administration, finance, business informatics, or commercial training with finance specialization
• Several years of experience in financial accounting with solid understanding of finance processes, booking logic, and monthly/annual closings
• Very good German and English language skills
• Proficient use of MS Office and common ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Initial experience in digitalization projects and strong interest in process and system development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial consolidation or cash management platforms
• Scrum knowledge or agile project experience
