Senior Account Executive, Enterprise (Public Accounts)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization in their search for a Senior Account Executive focused on public sector accounts. In this role, you will:

• Develop and close business within public sector accounts through strategic partner engagement
• Leverage channel partnerships to accelerate sales cycles and close deals with end customers
• Conduct outbound prospecting to develop new sales activities across mid-market and enterprise accounts
• Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base
• Maintain accurate forecasts and opportunity details in Salesforce CRM
• Propose, coordinate, and participate in marketing activities within your territory

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a proven enterprise sales professional with:

• Demonstrated enterprise sales experience with a track record of quota achievement
• Experience selling IT infrastructure solutions to technical specialists
• Background in both channel and direct sales motions
• Knowledge of virtualization technology vendors is a strong plus
• Proven ability to develop new business from scratch
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• High energy and comfort working in an organization where responsibilities evolve rapidly
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
• Current full driving license
• Business proficient language skills in both German and English
