Security Engineer – Product

We are representing a confidential cloud security organization seeking a Security Engineer to focus on product and production infrastructure security. This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud-native technologies while partnering with development and DevOps teams to build security into every layer of the software lifecycle.

Our client is a rapidly growing organization trusted by security teams worldwide, serving enterprise customers who rely on their platform to protect critical infrastructure. You'll play a key role in securing their products, CI/CD pipelines, and production environments while influencing the security roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat modeling and security reviews across products and cloud infrastructure, identifying attack surfaces and developing scalable mitigation strategies
• Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling that enables development teams to shift left and integrate end-to-end security into their workflows
• Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes-based infrastructure
• Drive vulnerability management and remediation efforts, prioritizing issues and implementing mitigations throughout the software supply chain
• Extend detection and response capabilities by building scalable solutions to identify malicious activity, triage alerts, and investigate incidents
• Build deep functional partnerships with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments
• Experience with AWS cloud security (or equivalent experience in Azure and GCP with some AWS exposure)
• Experience with cloud-native Kubernetes services (EKS/GKE/AKS) and container security principles
• Experience securing IAM and cloud identities at scale
• Experience leading technical security reviews, conducting threat modeling exercises, and translating findings into actionable security controls
• Practical understanding of web application security concepts (OWASP Top-10 and similar)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, Pulumi)
• Experience with automation and tooling development in Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego
• Legal authorization to work in France without visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams
• Experience in organizations that develop software or operate managed infrastructure for customers
• Familiarity with cloud security posture management or identity entitlement solutions
