Scientist III or Principal Scientist I – LC-MS and Analytical Support – FSP

Parexel seeks a Scientist III or Principal Scientist I to lead liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and analytical testing operations in a full-time role based in Carson City. This position places you with a key client partner in Rahway, NJ, where you'll deliver mission-critical analytical support for a growing organization.

About the Role

You'll join Parexel's Field Staff Program as an onsite team member, bringing expertise in LC-MS instrumentation and analytical chemistry to advance laboratory capabilities. What You'll Do

• Develop, optimize, and validate LC-MS methods for pharmaceutical or bioanalytical applications
• Execute analytical testing protocols with precision and attention to regulatory requirements
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and maintain peak detector and mass spectrometer performance
• Analyze and interpret complex analytical data, preparing accurate reports and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and advance project objectives
• Ensure quality control standards and compliance with applicable GLP/GMP guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline (Master's preferred for Principal Scientist level)
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with LC-MS instrumentation and method development
• Strong knowledge of analytical principles, data interpretation, and quality standards in regulated environments
• Technical communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional approach to safety, accuracy, and deadlines in a laboratory setting
