About the Role

What You'll Do

• Follow lesson plans left by the regular teacher to ensure instructional goals are met

• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators about classroom activities
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and any incidents

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (education or related field preferred)
• Valid Virginia teaching license or eligibility for a substitute teaching permit
• Successful completion of a background check and fingerprinting clearance
• Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and engage students of varying ages
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to accept assignments on short notice and adapt to different school settings
