About the Role

In this position you will partner with life sciences organizations to design, configure, and support SAP intercompany functionality that enables accurate financial consolidation and regulatory compliance. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating complex business requirements into scalable SAP configurations while ensuring seamless integration across global entities.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end‑to‑end design and implementation of SAP intercompany modules for life sciences projects, including master data setup, transaction processing, and elimination logic.
• Collaborate with finance, tax, and supply chain teams to map intercompany flows and resolve discrepancies in multi‑currency environments.
• Perform system testing, user acceptance testing, and go‑live support to guarantee minimal disruption during rollout.
• Provide post‑implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements that improve process efficiency and data integrity.
• Stay current with SAP updates and industry‑specific regulations affecting life sciences intercompany accounting.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives within Accenture’s SAP practice.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience configuring SAP intercompany functionality (SAP S/4HANA or ECC) within the life sciences sector.
• Strong understanding of intercompany accounting principles, transfer pricing, and eliminations.
• Ability to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and lead cross‑functional workshops.
• Excellent communication skills, with a track record of presenting complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with life sciences business processes such as clinical trial management, product lifecycle, and regulatory reporting.
• SAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI) or related modules is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
