Ikano-Retail is seeking a Sales Associate to join our team in Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. This is a full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic retail professional to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service.

As a Sales Associate at Ikano-Retail, you will be at the forefront of our customer experience, combining product knowledge with genuine interpersonal skills to support shoppers and achieve sales targets. Working in our Simpang Ampat location, you'll be part of a dynamic retail environment where every interaction matters.

Your Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, identifying their needs and recommending appropriate products
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Maintain product displays and ensure the sales floor is clean, organised, and visually appealing
• Meet daily and weekly sales targets whilst maintaining high standards of service
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve concerns professionally and promptly
• Keep stock levels current and support inventory management activities
• Follow health, safety, and company policies at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail or customer-facing sales roles
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• Ability to work towards and exceed sales targets
• Reliability and flexibility with scheduling, including potential weekend and public holiday hours
• Basic numeracy and competency with till or point-of-sale systems
• Genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service
