Consultant, Workday Financials – Spend/Procure-to-Pay – Active Certification Required

Deloitte is hiring a Consultant specializing in Workday Financials with expertise in Spend and Procure-to-Pay solutions in West Milwaukee, Milwaukee County. This full-time role combines strategic advisory, technical implementation, and process optimization to help enterprise clients maximize value from their financial systems and supply chain operations.

About the Role

As a Workday Financials Consultant on our Enterprise Performance team, you'll work at the intersection of finance, supply chain, and operations technology. This position focuses specifically on Spend and Procure-to-Pay modules, guiding organizations through complex financial transformations and optimizing their end-to-end procurement processes. You'll partner with enterprise clients and collaborate across our solution architecture teams to drive measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement Workday Spend and Procure-to-Pay solutions tailored to client financial and operational requirements
• Conduct process discovery and gap analysis to identify optimization opportunities within procurement and financial workflows
• Configure Workday Financials modules and support system testing and validation through implementation phases
• Advise clients on financial controls, compliance, and procurement best practices aligned with their business objectives
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues within Spend and Procure-to-Pay configurations
• Communicate recommendations and progress clearly to client stakeholders and internal teams

What We're Looking For

• Active Workday Financials certification (required) with demonstrated expertise in Spend and/or Procure-to-Pay
• 2+ years of Workday implementation or advisory experience
• Deep working knowledge of procure-to-pay processes, financial controls, and enterprise procurement practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence clients and cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
