Position Summary
As a Sales Agent specialising in Spare & Trading Commercial Operations at Wabtec, you'll lead the complete sales lifecycle for spare parts and commercial trading products. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while managing a portfolio of established and prospective customers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of components that keep our clients' operations running smoothly. You'll be the trusted liaison between Wabtec and customers, combining technical product knowledge with commercial acumen to identify opportunities and drive profitable growth in the spare parts market.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new customer prospects within the spare parts and commercial trading sectors
- Manage existing customer relationships, understanding their operational needs and recommending tailored spare parts solutions
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve sales targets whilst maintaining customer satisfaction
- Process orders, coordinate logistics, and ensure accurate, on-time delivery of products
- Track sales performance, prepare forecasts, and report on commercial outcomes
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide post-sale support
What You Bring
- Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in spare parts, industrial distribution, or commercial operations
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English; German language skills are a valuable asset
- Ability to understand technical product specifications and translate them into customer value
- Organised, results-driven approach with experience in CRM systems and sales reporting
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Familiarity with the transportation, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is advantageous
