Your Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and create individualized nursing care plans that address clinical needs on the BMU
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and interventions while monitoring responses and documenting outcomes accurately
• Observe and interpret vital signs, behavioral indicators, and other clinical data, promptly escalating changes to the care team
• Educate patients and support persons on treatment processes, self-care strategies, and discharge preparation
• Coordinate seamlessly with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to advance interdisciplinary goals
• Uphold infection-control protocols, medication safety standards, and unit-specific policies throughout each shift
• Maintain complete electronic records and participate in quality-improvement activities that elevate unit performance

What We're Looking For

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license valid for practice at SE Health Hospital
• Proven clinical experience at the RN level, ideally with progressive responsibility aligning to RN II expectations
• Current Basic Life Support certification; additional credentials such as ACLS preferred where relevant to the unit
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to manage complex patient situations calmly
• Comfort using electronic health records and following evidence-based nursing protocols
• Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative teamwork in a hospital environment
