Senior Project Manager

J.E. Dunn Construction Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects in Williston, Williams County, North Dakota. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to join a builder with a century-long legacy of putting great people and culture first.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager with J.E. Dunn Construction Company, you will take ownership of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, serving as the primary leader responsible for delivery, quality, and client satisfaction. Based in Williston (with work also tied to the Dickinson, ND area), you will guide project teams, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure each build meets J.E. Dunn's high standards. This is an in-person position rather than a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the full lifecycle of assigned construction projects, balancing schedule, budget, and quality.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration among field staff, subcontractors, and partners.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, owners, architects, and trade partners.
• Oversee planning, procurement, and resource allocation throughout each phase of the work.
• Monitor financial performance, track costs, and proactively manage project risks.
• Champion safety practices and uphold company standards across every jobsite.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects in a leadership capacity.
• Strong command of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Excellent communication and team-building skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
• Sound problem-solving judgment and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Willingness to work on-site in Williston, Williams County, and the surrounding North Dakota region.
