This RN II Clinical Decision Unit 7a opportunity at SE Health Hospital centers on assessing, monitoring, and guiding patients through observation and disposition decisions. You will apply advanced nursing judgment within the Clinical Decision Unit to stabilize conditions, coordinate rapid evaluations, and support seamless transitions while upholding SEH standards for safety and quality at SE Health Hospital.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and continuous monitoring of vital signs and clinical status in the Clinical Decision Unit.
• Create and adjust individualized care plans based on evolving patient data and interdisciplinary input.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions accurately while documenting outcomes in the electronic record.
• Partner with physicians and care teams to determine admission, discharge, or transfer pathways for observation patients.
• Educate patients and families on condition management, procedures, and post-stay instructions.
• Uphold infection control, safety protocols, and quality measures throughout every shift as RN II Clinical Decision Unit 7a.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns through established channels at SE Health Hospital.

Who We're Looking For

• Licensed Registered Nurse ready to practice at the RN II level.
• Proven clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills suited to acute observation and Clinical Decision Unit environments.
• Ability to prioritize multiple patients, communicate clearly with teams, and maintain calm under time-sensitive conditions.
