RN – Full Time Days – LTC

Good Samaritan seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day shifts at our long-term care community in Luverne, Minnesota, located in Nobles County. This is a stable, meaningful opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a values-driven environment dedicated to seniors' health and dignity.

What This Role Involves

As an RN on our day shift team, you will provide direct clinical care to residents in our long-term care facility, working 12-hour shifts as part of our full-time schedule. You'll partner with interdisciplinary care teams to assess resident needs, implement evidence-based nursing interventions, monitor health outcomes, and advocate for each individual's comfort and wellbeing. Your nursing judgment and compassionate presence are central to supporting seniors through their care journey.

Core Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain detailed clinical documentation
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Coordinate and communicate with physicians, social workers, and family members
• Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and changes in resident condition
• Provide direct physical care and supervision with dignity and compassion
• Support infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance

What You Bring

• Current Minnesota RN licensure in good standing
• Clinical knowledge and experience in patient care environments
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
