Director of Nursing – RN – Long Term Care

Good Samaritan seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Director of Nursing for our long-term care community in Methodist Camp, Dickinson County. This full-time leadership position offers an opportunity to oversee nursing operations and direct quality care services for our senior residents.

About the Role

As Director of Nursing in long-term care, you'll lead our nursing department and clinical staff, ensuring residents receive compassionate, evidence-based care. This role combines administrative oversight with direct involvement in care planning and quality improvement initiatives across our facility.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and develop the nursing team, fostering a culture of professional excellence and resident-centered care
• Oversee all aspects of resident care delivery, clinical protocols, and regulatory compliance within our long-term care setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and support resident health outcomes
• Implement quality assurance programs and maintain appropriate documentation and reporting standards
• Work with facility leadership to ensure our community maintains highest standards of care and resident satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure (Registered Nurse) in Minnesota
• Proven experience in long-term care nursing or senior health services
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing nursing teams and clinical operations
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, quality standards, and best practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Commitment to providing compassionate care within a faith-based, values-driven environment
