About the Role
As a Relay Settings Engineer II, you will design, test, and implement relay configurations for power delivery substations. This mid-level position combines technical engineering expertise with growing responsibility for system optimization and operational reliability in power distribution networks.
What You'll Do
- Configure and validate relay settings to meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards
- Conduct engineering analysis and coordinate comprehensive testing of substation equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot relay-related issues and recommend technical solutions for power delivery challenges
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, specifications, and configuration records
- Collaborate with engineering teams and utility clients to optimize power distribution performance
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices in power systems engineering
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical background in power systems
- Proven experience configuring relay settings and working with substation equipment
- Strong technical knowledge of power delivery systems and electrical distribution networks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within technical teams
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
