Join PwC's Risk & Investment (R&I) division as a Bankruptcy Consultation & Facilitation (BCFT) Project Manager at the Senior Associate level. About the Role
As a BCFT Project Manager, you will oversee multi-stakeholder bankruptcy consultation engagements, coordinating between PwC's advisory teams, client leadership, creditors, and court-appointed professionals. You'll translate regulatory requirements and bankruptcy code provisions into actionable project plans, ensuring all parties maintain aligned expectations and timelines throughout restructuring proceedings.
What You'll Do
- Manage project scope, budget, and timeline for bankruptcy consultation and facilitation assignments
- Coordinate with debtor companies, creditors' committees, and other stakeholders to structure productive negotiations and disclosure discussions
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, status reporting, and governance frameworks for complex restructuring engagements
- Lead facilitation sessions that advance stakeholder consensus on key restructuring issues and strategic alternatives
- Work with PwC's legal, financial advisory, and transaction teams to integrate specialized expertise into client solutions
- Travel up to 20% as required to support client sites and project milestones
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or professional services project management
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-party negotiations and stakeholder communications
- Strong understanding of bankruptcy law, corporate restructuring, and debtor-creditor dynamics
- Excellent project management skills with demonstrated success leading engagements worth $2M+
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing stakeholder priorities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and business intelligence tools
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or related field; MBA or legal background a plus
