About the Role
As Quarry Mine Manager, you will take ownership of every phase of our Elberton quarry, guiding daily production while balancing safety, compliance, output, and the bottom line. We are looking for an experienced operations leader with a strong foundation in mining and quarry environments who can turn strategy into measurable, profitable results and inspire a unified workforce toward dependable performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the quarry to keep production running smoothly and reliably.
- Make workplace safety a non-negotiable priority and uphold all applicable mining and environmental regulations.
- Identify opportunities to raise efficiency, control costs, and strengthen the profitability of the site.
- Lead, develop, and motivate a cohesive team to reach consistent operational excellence across all quarrying functions.
- Oversee the broad range of operational matters that keep the quarry productive and compliant.
Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience managing quarry or mining operations.
- Solid working knowledge of mine safety practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of building and guiding effective teams.
- Strong judgment for driving efficiency, productivity, and profitability at an operational site.
- Availability for this full-time, on-site role in Elberton, Elbert County.
