Survey Tech

CMES, Inc. is recruiting a Survey Tech to support our surveying operations in Lilburn, Gwinnett County. This full-time position combines field and office work, offering professional growth and hands-on experience in the surveying industry under the direction of an experienced Survey Team Leader.

Role Overview

As a Survey Tech at CMES, Inc., you'll develop a broad foundation in surveying by participating in both field operations and office-based tasks. Working directly with your Survey Team Leader, you'll gain exposure to the full scope of surveying work—from data collection and field measurements to office support and project documentation. This role is designed for someone eager to build expertise in surveying and advance their career through structured learning and mentorship.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys, collect measurements, and gather data at job sites
• Operate surveying equipment and instruments under supervision
• Assist with office-based surveying tasks, including data processing and report preparation
• Accurately document survey findings and maintain detailed records
• Support the Survey Team Leader and collaborate with team members
• Maintain and care for surveying equipment and field materials
• Contribute to project success through reliable, detail-oriented work
