About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist LPN to support our residents' respiratory health and recovery. This full-time position is central to our commitment to exceptional senior care, where you'll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and caregivers to ensure each resident receives the highest standard of respiratory support and monitoring.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct respiratory care to senior residents, including monitoring vital signs and oxygen levels
- Assist with and manage respiratory equipment and oxygen therapy under clinical supervision
- Support residents' comfort and mobility while maintaining proper respiratory function
- Document patient observations and care provided in medical records
- Communicate with the care team about residents' respiratory status and needs
- Help educate residents and families about respiratory health and recovery
- Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of respiratory equipment
What We're Looking For
- Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in your state
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
- Strong communication and compassion for senior care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Attention to detail in patient monitoring and documentation
- Physical ability to assist and support residents
