About the Role
As a Radiography Technologist I at UCHealth, you'll operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment to capture diagnostic X-rays and radiographic images that inform clinical decision-making. Working in our radiology department, you'll be an essential member of the care team, supporting physicians and patients through every examination with professionalism and technical expertise.
What You'll Do
- Perform radiographic examinations using digital X-ray equipment and imaging technology
- Position patients safely and accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images
- Apply radiation safety protocols to protect patients, yourself, and colleagues
- Maintain detailed records of procedures and patient information
- Communicate clearly with patients to ensure comfort and compliance during imaging
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support patient care
- Keep imaging equipment clean, functional, and properly calibrated
- Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
What We're Looking For
- Current certification or eligibility for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Valid state radiography license for Colorado
- Knowledge of radiographic positioning, exposure techniques, and imaging principles
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality diagnostic images
- Ability to lift and move patients safely, and stand for extended periods
- Professional demeanor and compassion for patients of all backgrounds
