We're seeking compassionate caregivers for our part-time, third shift positions—including every other weekend availability—who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors navigating memory challenges.
About This Position
This part-time Resident Assistant/CNA role is central to our Memory Care program, which specializes in Alzheimer's services and dementia support. Working third shift, you'll provide hands-on care in a secure, welcoming environment where dignity, hospitality, and resident independence are paramount. Your presence during evening and night hours ensures our residents receive consistent, attentive support when they need it most.
Core Duties
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
- Support residents with mobility and transfer assistance as needed
- Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and common areas
- Respond promptly to resident requests and communication needs
- Engage residents in appropriate activities and provide emotional support
- Document care provided and communicate with the care team
What You Bring
- Current CNA certification (or equivalent qualification as required by state)
- Compassion and patience when working with seniors with memory loss
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina for a hands-on care role
- Reliability and commitment to scheduled third shift and every other weekend availability
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nursing and medical staff
