About the Role

As a Renewable Natural Gas Plant Technician, you'll operate and maintain systems that convert landfill gas into renewable energy. You'll work independently across a modern facility, managing equipment, conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring safe, efficient operations. Every day brings different challenges—from equipment maintenance to process monitoring to safety compliance—keeping your work varied and engaging.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and operate renewable natural gas production equipment and control systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on plant machinery
• Collect and analyze operational data to optimize system performance
• Conduct safety checks and maintain equipment logs in compliance with environmental regulations
• Respond to alarms and equipment failures, troubleshooting root causes
• Work collaboratively during shift handoffs and contribute to a safety-focused team environment

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical manuals and equipment schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the team
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work flexible schedules
• Experience in utilities, manufacturing, or plant operations is a plus
