Position Summary

As a Rendering specialist at our Joslin facility, you'll contribute to one of the food industry's most important processes—converting animal byproducts into valuable ingredients. This role requires someone with a strong work ethic, dedication to food safety standards, and the ability to work in a dynamic processing environment. You'll be part of a team that powers quality across the entire Tysonfoods operation.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor rendering equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality output
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols throughout your shift
• Inspect materials and finished products to maintain quality standards
• Communicate with team leads and supervisors regarding equipment performance and issues
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
• Work collaboratively with your team to meet production targets
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures

What We're Looking For

• Ability to work in a food processing environment, including handling of animal byproducts
• Strong commitment to food safety and personal safety standards
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
• Reliability and punctuality for a full-time schedule
• Willingness to follow detailed instructions and company procedures
• Previous processing plant experience is a plus, but we'll train the right candidate
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
