Relationship Banker I (Carlyle Road)

Regions Bank is seeking a full-time Relationship Banker I to join our banking team in Belleville, Illinois, helping individuals and small business owners achieve their financial goals through personalized service and expert guidance.

About the Role

As a Relationship Banker I at our Carlyle Road location in Belleville, you'll be the primary point of contact for deposit customers, building lasting relationships while supporting their evolving financial needs. This is an on-site position where you'll combine genuine service excellence with sales acumen, working directly with clients to understand their goals and connect them with the right banking solutions.

What You'll Do

• Open new accounts and process banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Identify customer financial needs and recommend relevant products and services
• Cross-sell deposit products and connect customers with lending, investment, and advisory services
• Build and maintain a strong client base through proactive relationship management and excellent service
• Meet individual sales and service quality targets while exceeding customer expectations
• Perform account maintenance, reconciliation, and issue resolution
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and operational procedures
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and escalate complex issues appropriately

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or associate degree preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer interactions in a busy banking environment
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn banking systems and software
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliability and a strong work ethic in a team-oriented setting
• Ability to work standard banking hours, including some Saturdays
