About the Role
As a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse at Manchester Memorial Hospital, you'll deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature infants and their families. This full-time position operates on a rotating shift schedule (every third weekend and every third holiday, 7pm–7am) at our MMH-71 Haynes Street facility in Rocky Hill.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care to newborns requiring intensive medical support, including mechanical ventilation and advanced monitoring
- Assess and monitor vital signs, fluid status, and clinical changes throughout shifts
- Administer medications and therapies under physician direction, maintaining detailed clinical documentation
