Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Adult Unit

Join Manchester Memorial Hospital in Barry Square, Hartford County as a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) providing compassionate patient care on our inpatient adult unit. About the Role

As an inpatient registered nurse, you'll be at the heart of patient care delivery. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on adult patients throughout their hospital stay, working alongside an interdisciplinary team committed to recovery and healing.

What You'll Do

• Assess patient conditions and establish individualized care plans based on clinical findings and patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
• Monitor vital signs and patient responses to therapy, documenting changes and reporting to physicians
• Provide direct patient care including hygiene support, pain management, and comfort measures
• Educate patients and families about discharge instructions, medication management, and self-care
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain detailed, accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Respond to patient requests and concerns with professionalism and empathy

What We're Looking For

• Current Connecticut RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
• Compassion, patience, and commitment to patient advocacy
• Ability to manage multiple patient assignments and prioritize effectively
