Role Overview

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team at Yale New Haven Health in New York, New York. This is a full-time position with immediate availability on the Medicine units including SLA 3 Adult Acute Care Medicine with Telemetry, SLA 4 Adult Acute Care Medicine with Telemetry, SLA 5 Adult Acute Care Renal and Palliative Specialty Medicine, V5N Adult Acute Care Medicine with Telemetry, V5W Adult Acute Care Medicine with Telemetry, and V4W Acute Care for Older Adults.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Perform diagnostic tests and monitor patient responses to treatment
  • Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in medical records
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Licensed RN in the state of New York or eligible for licensure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience as a nurse is preferred but not required
  • Aptitude to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
