About the Role

As the Aesthetic Registered Nurse for Skin Laundry in Torrance, California, you report to the Clinic Manager and focus on providing laser-based or aesthetic procedures that meet rigorous safety and quality benchmarks. The position demands a genuine dedication to educating clients on skincare and aftercare steps, recording accurate details, and partnering with clinic colleagues to uphold a polished, inviting atmosphere while advancing shared performance aims. Candidates must maintain regular weekend availability on both Saturday and Sunday, offer a minimum of three days each week (with Friday or Monday preferred and both ideal), align with posted clinic operating hours that feature 11-hour scheduled shifts equating to 10 hours of work after breaks, commit to schedules finalized 60 days ahead, manage a typical one-to-two day weekly pattern with capacity for up to three days, commute dependably to the primary site, and provide occasional coverage at neighboring clinics. Compensation consists of a $28 hourly base rate plus tips and commission or a $55 hourly guaranteed rate. Physical demands include prolonged sitting and standing plus lifting and relocating inventory and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct non-invasive laser therapies and aesthetic procedures strictly under medical protocols and company guidelines across required treatment types and durations
• Review medical histories, secure informed consent, and respond to client questions to confirm treatment eligibility
• Administer procedures with accuracy, emphasizing comfort and satisfaction from start to finish
• Document comprehensive, compliant client treatment records that satisfy legal and organizational mandates
• Explain treatment benefits, risks, expected results, and post-care guidance while building client trust and confidence
• Deliver high-caliber service that creates a welcoming professional encounter and resolve concerns efficiently, escalating as needed
• Coordinate with the clinic team to preserve clean, orderly, and efficient treatment spaces and seamless daily operations
• Recommend complementary services, products, or packages that support clinic aims
• Enforce all safety, infection-control, and regulatory standards; inspect and maintain equipment while reporting issues promptly
• Pursue continuing education on best practices and new technologies, assist with training, special events, inventory restocks, peak-period coverage, mentoring, quality initiatives, and protocol feedback

Qualifications

• Associate degree
• Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of employment
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
• Ability to meet schedule, commuting, and physical requirements outlined above
• Preferred experience with appointment platforms such as Zenoti or similar tools
• Preferred background in aesthetics, dermatology, customer service, or sales
• Preferred knowledge of skin types, treatment indications, and pre- and post-care needs
• Preferred advanced interpersonal, verbal, written, listening, and problem-solving skills for client education and comfort
• Preferred clinical competence, professionalism, compassion, teamwork, and meticulous adherence to protocols that prioritize safety
