Hartford Hospital seeks experienced Registered Nurses (RN) and recent Graduate Nurses (GN) to join our Cardiology team at our Ellington location in Tolland County. This is a full-time opportunity to deliver specialized cardiac care and advance your nursing career within the Hartford Healthcare system.

About the Role

We're looking for compassionate, skilled nurses ready to make a meaningful impact in one of healthcare's most dynamic specialties. Our Cardiology units provide comprehensive care to patients with heart disease, arrhythmias, and post-operative cardiac conditions. You'll work across multiple shifts with scheduling flexibility to support patient outcomes and your professional goals.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and responding to acute changes in patient status
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams on treatment plans
  • Administer medications and manage cardiac monitoring equipment with precision
  • Educate patients and families about heart disease, recovery, and lifestyle management
  • Document patient information accurately and communicate clinical updates to the care team

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Connecticut
