Make an immediate impact where clinical expertise directly shapes maternal and newborn outcomes during one of life's most significant moments.

About the Role

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with obstetricians, nurse-midwives, and interdisciplinary team members on patient care plans
  • Educate families about labor stages, pain-management options, and postpartum self-care
  • Document clinical findings, patient responses, and care delivered in the medical record
  • Assist with emergency response procedures and stabilization when complications arise
  • Support initial newborn care, assessment, and parent-infant bonding

What We're Looking For

  • Current Connecticut RN license in active, good standing
  • Experience in acute care, obstetrics, or labor and delivery settings preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities

  • Patient-centered, compassionate approach to maternal and newborn care
  • Collaborative team player with accountability for patient safety
