Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Podiatry

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide clinical care in our podiatry practice located at 339 W Main St Family Health Center in Plymouth, Litchfield County. This Monday through Friday position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care while growing your nursing career within one of the region's most comprehensive healthcare networks.

About the Role

As an LPN in our podiatry clinic, you'll serve as a vital member of our clinical team, supporting podiatric physicians and patients through all stages of care. This full-time role combines direct patient interaction, clinical procedures, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in a specialized outpatient setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of podiatric physicians
• Assist with examinations, wound care, and patient preparation for procedures
• Monitor and record vital signs and relevant clinical information
• Administer treatments and medications as directed and within LPN scope of practice
• Educate patients on post-care instructions, foot health, and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation and patient records
• Ensure clinic safety, cleanliness, and adherence to infection control protocols

What We're Looking For

• Current Connecticut LPN license in good standing
• Strong clinical knowledge and practical nursing experience
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation
• Professional demeanor and compassion for patients
