About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant to join our Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology team based in Norwich. Working Monday through Friday in a full-time capacity, you'll deliver comprehensive patient care within our cardiology practice, making a measurable difference in the lives of patients with complex arrhythmias and cardiac conditions. This position offers the opportunity to practice at the forefront of electrophysiology while collaborating with leading cardiologists and specialists.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and manage patients presenting with arrhythmias, conduction disorders, and other cardiac electrical abnormalities
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure care for electrophysiology studies, device implantations, and ablation procedures
  • Work alongside interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists to develop and implement individualized treatment strategies
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic evaluations including 12-lead ECGs, Holter monitoring, and device interrogations
  • Counsel patients on antiarrhythmic medications, lifestyle modifications, and implantable device management
  • Document clinical interactions thoroughly and maintain comprehensive patient health records
  • Contribute to smooth clinic operations and efficient patient care delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Active Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant license in Connecticut
  • Professional experience in cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, or related clinical practice
  • Proficiency in clinical reasoning and patient assessment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to evidence-based care and patient safety standards
  • Ability to function effectively within a collaborative team environment
