Cardiology Manchester – Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant to join our team in Enfield, Hartford County, Connecticut. This full-time position offers you the opportunity to deliver specialized cardiac care in a modern clinical setting where your expertise directly improves patient outcomes.

About the Role

As a Cardiology APRN or PA, you'll provide comprehensive patient care within our cardiology service line, working Monday through Friday at our Enfield location (29 Haynes Street). You'll partner with experienced cardiologists and healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions, while building lasting relationships with the patients you serve.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for cardiology patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
• Prescribe medications and manage medication adjustments in collaboration with attending physicians
• Provide patient education on cardiovascular health, lifestyle modifications, and disease management
• Document clinical encounters and maintain accurate patient records
• Follow up on patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the cardiology department

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted Connecticut APRN or PA licensure
• Board certification or eligibility in your respective credential
• Cardiology experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to manage a busy clinical schedule with attention to detail
