Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APRN) specializing in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology for our Wallingford, New Haven County location. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver advanced cardiac care within Connecticut's most comprehensive healthcare network.

About the Role

You'll work Monday through Friday in a clinical cardiac electrophysiology setting, evaluating and managing patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias. As a clinical PA or APRN, you'll contribute to both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, collaborate with cardiologists and specialty teams, and provide comprehensive patient care that directly impacts outcomes in cardiac care.

What You'll Do

• Assess and manage patients presenting with cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiological conditions
• Participate in electrophysiology procedure support, including diagnostic testing and ablation interventions
• Conduct clinical evaluations and perform patient history and physical examinations
• Coordinate perioperative and ongoing cardiac patient management
• Document clinical encounters accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records
• Communicate treatment plans and clinical updates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

What We're Looking For

• Active PA or APRN license in Connecticut
• Clinical experience in cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, or related cardiac specialty
• Demonstrated competency in clinical assessment and procedural support
• Strong communication and collaborative care skills
• Professional commitment to advancing patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting
