About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential government services organization seeking a Records Management Specialist III. This is a full-time, mid-level position supporting a large Federal agency initiative. We are looking for an experienced professional who can provide technical, management, and documentation support for complex records management programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for records management programs, dockets, records center, or other information services under the supervision of a Records Information Manager
  • Assist in planning and program development, analysis of records or docket management problems, and design of strategies to meet ongoing needs
  • Respond to inquiries regarding records management and docket systems
  • Perform collection maintenance and retrieval tasks
  • Conduct metadata review and input
  • Maintain equipment and utilize automated information systems, including the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS)
  • Execute additional technical duties as needed based on work site requirements

What We're Looking For

  • At least three (3) years of records management experience
  • Experience with at least one automated information system (required)
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a government contracting environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
