About This Position

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Property Assistant to join our team at Summerset Trentham. As a casual role, you will play a key part in maintaining the high standards that Summerset is known for – helping to keep our village safe, beautiful, and running smoothly.

Core Duties

• Supporting the Property Manager and Head Gardener with a wide range of maintenance tasks
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of common areas and facilities
• Assisting in the organization and upkeep of landscaping and gardens
• Responding to resident inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively
• Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions as required

What We're Looking For

• A proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
• Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, landscaping, and minor repairs
• A valid New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide) driver’s license (not required but advantageous)
