Projektleitung Gebäudeschadstoffe (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential environmental consulting organization seeking a Project Leader for Building Hazardous Materials in Berlin. In this role, you will independently manage projects from initial site inspection through final acceptance, without requiring approval committees for each step.

Your responsibilities include:

• Investigating buildings for hazardous materials including asbestos, artificial mineral fibers (KMF), PCB, and PAH
• Developing investigation concepts, specifications, and expert reports in the building hazardous materials sector
• Planning hazardous material remediation projects and overseeing implementation as technical site supervision, including acceptance of contractor work
• Managing and expanding client relationships across hospitals, schools, and private properties
• Leading projects autonomously with full responsibility from start to completion

What We're Looking For

• Minimum three years of professional experience in building hazardous materials investigation, remediation, or demolition
• Proven project leadership experience, not just project support roles
• Direct client contact and relationship management experience
• Excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level) in written and spoken form, as you will author reports independently
• Valid Class B driver's license
• A degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, geosciences, or natural sciences is advantageous but not required—practical experience in the field is what matters most
