Project Manager – Service & Maintenance (Southern Europe)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Project Manager for Service & Maintenance to lead operations across Southern Europe. Based in Rennes, France, you will take ownership of service delivery for advanced biogas and energy recovery installations across France, Spain, and Italy.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate maintenance activities, manage client relationships, and drive operational excellence across multiple countries. You'll work in an international environment, collaborating with technical teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure installations run safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service and maintenance activities across Southern European installations
• Lead preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs
• Identify commercial opportunities and prepare quotations and service contracts
• Perform cost calculations for maintenance contracts and refurbishment projects
• Supervise work execution according to quality, HSE, and safety standards
• Select and manage external contractors and resources
• Monitor project progress and provide regular performance reports
• Process maintenance documentation and invoicing
• Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Identify and report unsafe situations, maintaining strong safety awareness

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar project management or service coordination role
• Strong affinity with maintenance of sustainable or industrial installations
• Excellent safety awareness and communication skills
• Fluency in French and English required; Spanish or Italian highly valued
• Proficiency with MS Office and maintenance management systems
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of multi-country operations
• Willingness to travel across Southern Europe as needed
