Parexel is hiring a Project Leadership professional to manage critical clinical trial initiatives in the biotech and respiratory therapeutic areas, based in Edgewood, Richland County. This is a full-time leadership opportunity to shape the future of drug development and bring life-changing treatments to patients.

About the Role

As a Project Leader in our Biotech Division, you'll direct the strategy, execution, and outcomes of complex clinical research programs. Your role bridges our internal teams, external clients, and regulatory stakeholders, ensuring every project advances both scientific rigor and business objectives. You'll work within our Global Project Leadership organization, where your decisions directly influence how we serve pharmaceutical and biotech companies pursuing breakthrough therapies in respiratory medicine.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end management of clinical trial projects, from planning through completion and regulatory submission
• Build and mentor cross-functional project teams, setting clear goals and accountability
• Coordinate with clients, investigators, regulatory bodies, and internal operations to maintain project timelines and quality standards
• Develop project budgets, track resource allocation, and report on financial performance
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project outcomes or patient safety
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, GCP guidelines, and company standards throughout project lifecycle
• Communicate project status, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership and client stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Proven project management experience in clinical trials, biotech, or pharmaceutical development
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage teams and influence stakeholders
• Knowledge of clinical trial protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance processes
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
