Product Owner PLM (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential aerospace technology client in their search for a Product Owner to lead the evolution of their internal Product Lifecycle Management platform. This is a strategic role at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, production, and product management.

You will own the product vision and roadmap for a mission-critical digital platform, ensuring it delivers measurable business value across the organization. This is a business-focused position where you'll translate operational needs into clear product initiatives while partnering with an internal development team.

Location: Gilching, Bayern, Germany

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously refine the PLM platform product roadmap
• Translate business needs and processes into clear requirements and priorities
• Partner with stakeholders across R&D, Production, Supply Chain and Product Management
• Facilitate decision-making and manage competing priorities across departments
• Drive adoption and continuous improvement of PLM processes organization-wide
• Guide the internal development team and steer delivery outcomes
• Establish governance, transparency and long-term platform strategy

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Process Owner or similar role
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into product initiatives
• Experience managing roadmaps, backlogs and prioritization processes
• Structured and pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Fluent English

Preferred:

• Experience with PLM, PDM, ERP or manufacturing systems
• Background in product development, engineering or supply chain processes
• Experience working in fast-growing technology organizations
